| DTBD - 9 minutes ago I have heard of but not read McNubbin. Will put it on the definite list. Sounds a bit like, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee by Dee Brown. Fantastic book. You read books like these and realise how much most humans miss the big picture of what, where and how we are in history. |

| DTBD - 2 minutes ago I have a painting of Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce McNubbin, hanging in my house. People have asked me who he is, as he is not one of the regularly known Chiefs. I'm quite happy to explain to them that he was one off, if not the first indigenous American advocates for the Wallowa people in Oregon. Powerful and stood strong. |
