The city I live in only 2 shut down but they are building new businesses. I work in a different city than I live and they have abandoned businesses all the way down the road. Wow.

Some business closed, mostly in the restaurants, but not really much different, maybe even a little more of a boom since then. Definitely not a ghost town

Lately some of the bars around here have been bringing in more out of town talents and events so it's increasing interests in the area

The businesses are all closing here because we are over ran but Hispanic immigrants. They only shop Walmart of a store that is owned by Hispanics. Toco bells are closing because Hispanic only eat at the trailer stands on every corner. But now that most restaurants have gone out of business they are reopening under Spanish names and words I can't understand. I'm glad they finally started shipping them to city's up North so they can see what is happening

Things are close to normal in the trucking world. The biggest loss was the salad bar/ buffet at T/A and Petro. Two in particular, Kingdom City, MO and York, NE had awesome prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays, no more

They usually keep the food stock fresh, but I've never seen prime rib at speedway, unless it's it a sandwich off the warmer or from the cooler
